ISABELLA WORBANSKI (nee SIMMONS) 1925 - 2018 On July 12, 2018, Isabella Worbanski (nee Simmons) passed peacefully, at Deer Lodge in Winnipeg, MB. Born in Glasgow, Scotland on December 2, 1925. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael in 1990. Survived by her three children, Milton and his wife Doreen, Raymond and wife Patti and Pamella and David. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Clinton, Cassandra, Katy, Kristen, Riley and Michael and her great-granddaughter Adena. Mother served in the British Army during the Second World War, where she met and married our father, also serving his country, who was her one, true love. She arrived in Canada as a war bride in 1946. She was a feisty, funny, brutally honest lady, devoted to her family. She somehow found time to spend endless hours volunteering for many charities, including her incredible talent at knitting and donating her work for charity raffles. We thank the amazing staff on Tower Six at Deer Lodge for their loving care of our Ma during her stay, and very special thank you to Apryl Lemming (Tracy).
