Mom married Dad, May 1, 1943 and made their home on the farm in Komarno, MB. There they farmed and raised their children. They moved to Winnipeg in 1967 and mom started working at Winnipeg Drapery and worked there until she retired. She loved gardening and her flowers. She loved going to bingo every Monday. She loved doing paper toll crafts, knitting, crocheting and in her later years she liked playing solitaire. She loved her grandchildren and her great-granddaughters with all her heart and would do anything for them. She was very proud of her grandchildren. Mom always gave hugs to the staff at Goodwin Lodge and that made her day and their day. We'd like to thank Dr. Loudon and all the wonderful staff at Goodwin Lodge for taking such good care of mom.
