HANNALORE PETERS March 25, 1926 - July 15, 2018 Peacefully, while in her sleep, Hanna passed away to join her parents, Otto and Sophia Niemann, and her beloved husband, John Burns Peters. Hannelore leaves behind John's children, and his brother Arthur's daughter, Debbie Penner, as well as family in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who miss her greatly. Hannelore was born in Berlin, Germany ,and immigrated alone to Canada as a young adult. She worked for many years, first as a seamstress at the Hudson's Bay in Winnipeg. In her free time she joined the Canadian Forces Reserves where she excelled as a medical assistant earning awards and public accommodations. After John's death in 1980, she pursued a career in medicine, graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse after which she worked at the Health Sciences Centre. The family would like to thank the staff on the ninth floor of Parkview Place who cared so lovingly and professionally for Hannalore during the last five years.
