Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRIAN KENNETH BRINDLEY March 25, 1952 - July 19, 2018 On July 19, 2018 Brian passed away peacefully in his home, with his family by his side. Brian is survived by his wife Beverly, mother Anne, sister Donna (Ken), daughters: Jackie (Doug), Val (Cory), Mary (Darren) and Karen (Jeff). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren whom he cherished: Gavin (Manvir), Justine (Ryley), Breanna, Chaz, Emily, Sam, Alex, Jayden and Graeme. He had a special place in his heart for his nieces: Kendall, Brindley, Jill, and nephew Carl. Not forgotten and loved is Alice (stepmother-in-law), and brother-in-law Cliff (Judith). Brian is predeceased by his father Ken, and Bev's parents, Allan and Anne. Dad appreciated the simple things life has to offer. He loved time spent with family and friends. As his time drew near he said to us "all that is left are the memories". Dad had a huge appreciation for the outdoors and spent summers camping while raising his family. He was an avid fisherman and loved the solitude at his cabin at Wekusko. He was known for his "buying and selling" over the years and he acquired some treasured antiques. Dad and Mom spent every day together looking for new adventures. They spent many hours on a motorcycle and winters were spent in Yuma, AZ playing with friends in the desert and enjoying the sun. He enjoyed travelling with Mom, visiting quaint places and meeting interesting people along the way. Many close friends were made over the years and their support during this difficult time has been appreciated. He was a wonderful dad and raised his daughters to work hard, be mindful, respectful and kind. Family was his priority and he loved our mom dearly. Before he passed he said to her ... "In case I miss you, know I love you and think of me often". We will never forget you Dad and will love you always. Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to CancerCare Manitoba in Brian's name. We are so sorry to hear of Brian's passing. We never would have dreamed that the guy we had so much fun with at Happy Hour in Arizona would be gone a few months later. This truly shows that you have to enjoy every day of your life as you never know what tomorrow will bring.
