MICHEL CHAUDOUET It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Michel Chaudouet, on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Michel was born September 16, 1927 in Villiers les Aprey, France. He left his home and family and relocated to Canada in 1952 at the age of 25 where he met the love of his life Priscilla Marcoux. They married on August 17, 1957 and settled in her lifelong hometown of Lorette, Manitoba where they raised their six children. Michel will be lovingly remembered by his children, Nicole (Ron), Gilbert, Jocelyne (Dale), Arlette, Rheal and Gerald (Meryl); grandchildren, Jonathan, Laura (Ryan), Melissa, Tamara, Mathieu, Geneviève, Chantal, Kayla (Ivo) and Jordyn; great-grandchildren, Kristopher, Mercedes, Trista, Ashton, Joshua and Lilix; and many friends and relatives, both in Canada and in France. Dad was predeceased by his loving wife Priscilla in 2006; his parents, Camille and Geneviève; brothers, André, Roger, Pierre and Henri; sisters, Bernadette, Madeleine and Gilberte; and numerous loved ones. Michel retired from King George Hospital in 1988, where he worked for 27 years in maintenance. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and aides who took excellent care of him at Actionmarguerite - St. Boniface. Prayers and eulogy will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018, with Father Charles Fillion presiding at the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Church in Lorette, Manitoba. Interment of Michel's urn will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
