JOYCE (PENNY) MCLEOD (nee POWELL) May 25, 1928 - July 20, 2018 Joyce (Penny) Rosina McLeod (nee Powell) passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Pamela and son-in-law Don, on July 20, 2018, at the age of 90 years, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband Fred (September 16, 2017); her sons, Derek, Kevin, and Jeffrey; parents, Rosina and Malcolm Powell; sister Iris; and brother-in-law Rab Stalker. She will be deeply missed by daughters, Cheryl (Keith), Judy (Rick) and Pamela (Don); her son Cameron (Kathy); daughter-in-law Linda; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Ernie; sisters-in-law, Jean and Gail (Joe); and many nieces and nephews. She married Fred on September 16, 1949, and together they devoted their lives to raising their seven children. Mom's determination and sense of humour will be greatly missed. We love you Mom! Our deepest sympathies to all the McLeod family. We were so saddened to hear that Auntie Penny had passed away. I have the fondest memories of Auntie Penny and Uncle Freddy. I still see them sitting in the airport in their wheelchairs waiting for their flight home from a trip to Montreal. We really enjoyed when they came to visit. They would talk about old times and tell funny stories about the four of them. We would always play cards, 31 would be the game we played most. Auntie Penny we love you and will always remember your feistiness and great sense of humor. Donna & Claudio xo - Posted by: Donna Hoelscher Piscina (Niece) on: Jul 25, 2018
