NATASHA (TASHA) LEE GODLEIN On July 20, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends, Tasha received her angel wings. We were all blessed and honoured to be a part of her life. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Tasha is survived by her children, Taylor, Tori and Kaylee; her father Gary (Nancy); mother Linda; brother Christopher (April), sister Malisa (Brian), sister Kyla (Curtis); numerous nieces and nephews; family, friends and her pets. On June 13, 1977 in Regina, SK, Tasha (Natasha) Lee Godlein was born to Gary and Linda, baby sister to Chris, Malisa and Kyla. Tasha grew up in Regina and The Pas. She will always be remembered as the little girl with the big brown eyes and ringlets. As a young adult, she moved to Winnipeg where she evolved into an amazing, strong, independent woman who thrived at creating a nurturing home for her children, Taylor, Tori and Kaylee, her family, friends and animals. Tasha was our beautiful social butterfly who was always willing to go above and beyond what anybody ever thought, and she proved that in the past year and a half. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home & Cemetery, Highway 1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Kardal, Olei Chankamany, Bain Giesbrecht, Ryan Arsenault, Devin Gederon, Nick Kelsey, Sheldon Arthurson, and Kevin Kosowan, Stony Mountain Institution Honour Guards. Words cannot express our gratitude to St. Boniface Hospital CancerCare for the compassion and treatment Tasha received. We would also like to thank all the various doctors, nurses and those who provided care for Tasha throughout her battle with cervical cancer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Tasha to CancerCare Manitoba, Canadian Diabetes Association and Winnipeg Boxer Rescue. • We got to know Tasha when she came to Winnipeg to give birth to Taylor. Family stayed at our home in Lockport while Tasha was in the St. Boniface Hospital. In recent years I have been Facebook friends with Tasha and enjoyed seeing her pictures that she posted and private messages she sent to keep me up-to-date with her life and her health. She was a marvellous young woman and has been taken away far too early. Condolences go out to her parents, family, friends and pets. We are just so sorry to hear that Cancer has taken another wonderful person far too early. Hugs, Marian & Ron - Posted by: Marian & Ron Stefaniuk (Friends) on: Jul 26, 2018
