Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGASTON BREMAULT Gaston Brémault passed away at Heritage Life Personal Care Home, in Niverville, Manitoba, on Monday, July 23, 2018, at 87 years of age. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Nicole (Norman Dugas), Lise, Joëlle, Suzanne, Luc (Marie-Paule Sabourin), Lynne (Robert Parent); his eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, his brothers and sisters-in-law, and their families. Gaston was predeceased by his wife Céline (St-Hilaire), and their daughter Ginette. Gaston was born in Ste-Agathe, Manitoba, on February 7, 1931, the first of twelve children of Auguste and Louise-Anna (Lemoine) Brémault. Gaston and Céline were married in 1953. They lived, worked and raised their children on their farm in Ste-Agathe, before moving to town in 1978. Gaston worked as a residential construction inspector for surrounding rural municipalities before his retirement in 2001. Gaston loved to sing and be involved in committees which led to the betterment of his church and community. A man of faith, Gaston enjoyed discussing matters and values of importance to him, with family and friends. We, the children would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Heritage Life for the love and care given to our "Papa". The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018, at the Ste-Agathe Catholic Church, presided by Fr. Peter Krasuski, PSS. Prayers, music and eulogy will start at 1:30 p.m., the funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m., followed by interment in the Ste-Agathe Parish Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Ste-Agathe Community Hall. Donations may be made to the "Édouard and Marie-Ange St-Hilaire Trust Fund" (established to benefit persons who contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the elderly), FRANCOFONDS, 101-205 Provencher Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB R2H 0G4. Nos prières et nos pensées accompagnent les membres de la famille ainsi que tous les proches et amis en ce moment de la perte d'un être cher. Nous gardons d'excellents souvenirs de Gaston, Céline et toute sa belle famille et des quelques bons moments vécus avec eux. Tel que mentionné, Gaston a été un homme de foi et de grandes valeurs, toujours souriant malgré la diversité et les difficultés. Il a toujours su donné le meilleur de lui même.
