ELIZABETH (BETTY) MARGARET GRANT Peacefully after a brief illness, we regret that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Betty) Margaret Grant (nee Hemphill) on July 29, 2018, at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 82 years. Betty leaves behind her children, Darrin, Kelly (Darryll) and Darryl (Bud Jr.) (Lorinda); grandchildren, Katelynn, Michael, Garrett, Madison, Tyler and Cameron. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley (Bud) Grant in 2008. For many years Betty worked for the CNIB and was afforded the opportunity to open up her own business. Mom named her business "Double B Catering" and set up in the Department of Highways and Transportation on Dublin Avenue where her and Dad ran a successful business for many years. Mom was a great cook and hosted many holiday meals. Mom had a great sense of humour and enjoyed chatting with other residents that lived in her apartment block. A private family funeral will be held at a later date. Special thanks to her friend Dennis for the care he provided to our mom over the years. We miss you already Doll Face.
