FREDERICK VINCENT HEILAND May 24, 1930 - July 28, 2018 Peacefully with his nephew by his side, Fred passed at the age of 88. He will be greatly missed by his sister Alice (Zdril), many nieces and nephews, family and friends. He was employed at C.B.C. Radio-Canada for many years. He enjoyed over 30 years of retirement. Fred was a quiet, gentle soul, who dedicated his life to caring for his mother Katherine, sisters and brothers. Fred will be forever remembered for his kind and generous ways that touched all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home August 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. In life of flowers, donations may be made in Fred's honour to the Parkinsons Society Manitoba, 414 Westmount Dr., Winnipeg, MB R2J 1P2. A big thank you to Dr. Sharma and Dr. Wong.
