Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I worked with Maxine for a number of years in Children's Day Surgery. We talked, we laughed, we argued but through it all we were friends. She was a wonderful woman who left an impression on everyone she met. Deepest sympathy to you, her family. She leaves you a legacy of a life well lived and now she joins Gerry, her faithful companion through life. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Florence Ziprick "Zip" (Co-worker becoming a friend) on: Aug 08, 2018

  • Maxine was a superb Pediatric Nurse. I had the honour and privilage of working with her for years at the Winnipeg Children's Hospital. She was an expert, caring caregiver who assisted many children in their recovery from orthopedic disease and injury. She made a difference and will be remembered. Condolences to the family. • I will miss my dear friend Maxine. We worked together for 10 years at Day Surgery at Children’s Hospital. We became close friends and have kept touch throughout the ensuing years. Maxine was such an energetic vibrant lady who inspired others to do their best and be kind to each other. Everyone should be so fortunate to have had such a great friend. Until we meet again Max! - Posted by: Susan Manson (Work colleague and friend) on: Aug 07, 2018

  • Maxine was a lovely friendly person who was known for her artistic flair. I was glad to have known her and will miss her. She really did fight the good fight. - Posted by: Lillian (We both belonged to the same group of women beginning with Red Hat and then Crocus Charmers.) on: Aug 06, 2018

  • Julia, Gina and Marcie (Jerry--didn't hang around with you but still). I am sorry to be reading of your mom's passing. I remember the good times in the house on Oakview. Friendships. How both parents treated me as one of their own by taking me to the cottage on many occasions. I remember her to be fun loving. So in love with your dad. Now that was a love affair. God bless and hugs to all. - Posted by: Brenda Malynyk (Friend of children) on: Aug 04, 2018
