Margery is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Donald; her children, Donald (Renee), Joy (Fraser); grandchildren, Christopher, Mandi, Raurie and Ian; brother Greg Johnson (Adele); brothers-in-law, William White and Warren Ferguson; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, that were all very special to her, and her beloved dog Hanna. She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Brian Mathias; mother and father-in-law Albert and Ethel White; her beloved daughter Beth; her sister Dorothy (Dee); and sister-in-law Ruth. Mom belonged to the Charleswood Art group for many years and will always be remembered for her hand painted cards. She always loved watching baseball on TV, particularly the Winnipeg Goldeyes and the Blue Jays. In her later years she loved sitting and watching baseball, hockey and football. Often, if you asked what she was doing, the reply was "Watching THE Game!". Didn't matter which game. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, interment and luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you to make a donation to a charity of your choice in memory of Margery. Just a note to the family - Auntie Marg (who wasn't really my Aunt - more my 3rd cousin's wife) had an influence on my early life - as I child I would look forward to their visits or our long voyage (pack a lunch - we're going to the Whites - my Dad would say)... I always felt so special when I saw her. Love you Auntie Marg. Love Dianne - Posted by: Dianne Lubinski (nee DeVisser) (family) on: Aug 20, 2018
