Mrs. Ames was the mother of my great friend Robert whith whom I studied College in Canada. Although I only had the blessing of meeting Mrs. Ames a couple of times, those remembrances were stamped forever in my mind and soul. Her warm and kind hospitality to a stranger gave me the feeling of the most caring mother that one could possible have. Staying at the Ames place was like being at home and I thank her for that feeling. May God bless her whereever she is. Thank you Mrs. Ames. - Posted by: Ido Gibellini (Friend) on: Dec 29, 2018

Josie was a very close friend of my mother Claire Cordingley and this friendship brought me close to her and her family. She was a happy, friendly woman. I enjoyed the times I got to spend with her and Bob. I am truly sorry for the family's loss. - Posted by: Brian Cordingley (Friend) on: Sep 10, 2018

Josie and her family were our dear neigbours for years. Our kids grew up together and Josie guided all of them with love and kindness. She was a pillar in our community with her husband Bob. They both contributed immensly to the community, their church and the well being of the Sturgeon Creek region. Sincere condolances to Robert, Richard, Russell and Chris. Per ardua ad astra!
