Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I just heard of Aunt Zella's passing. I remember Aunt Zella taking me parallel parking. I failed the parallel parking the 1st time - and Aunt Zella just said, "keep practicing, you will get it". And, I did...of course with Aunt Zella's help. She was a kind, happy, straight forward person. She always called a spade a spade. My condolences to all of the family. I am so glad I got to know Aunt Zella. - Posted by: Vicki Salmon (niece) on: Sep 01, 2018

  • When I first met Zella I knew we were gonna hit it off because of her straightforward pragmatic way of looking at things. I loved her sense of humour. When she came to visit me and my family in Minneapolis, She gave me wonderful advice about recipes and diabetes. We were lucky to have known her. Our deepest sympathies to her family. - Posted by: Laurel mudumbi (Step daughter) on: Aug 31, 2018

  • Sorry to hear of Zella's passing she was quite the lady and know she loved to go to the casino in the USA with a mutual friend of mine Wendy. I just know she loved her 3 little fur babies and only ever wanted the best for them. I pray that her wishes that they be taken care of in Winnipeg will happen soon. You will be missed very much Zella especially by your brother John who I met just recently. God Bless all. - Posted by: Olwen Kempson (Friend) on: Aug 26, 2018
