Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS LITKE 1951 - 2018 On August 19, Dennis Litke, 66, peacefully passed away in the comfort of his home. Dennis was born on November 8, 1951 in Morris, Manitoba to Sefrin and Ida Litke. On May 5, 1973, he married the love of his life, Alma Gretzinger, and together they raised Chris, Jeremy, and Larisa. Dennis worked proudly as an accountant and found great strength in his faith in Jesus. One of his greatest joys was playing with his grandchildren. Dennis was always ready to give wise advice or crack a joke. Dennis was preceded by his parents, Sefrin and Ida (Rapske) Litke; and his nephew Ryan Litke. Dennis is survived by his wife, Alma; his children, Chris (Marlise), Jeremy (Bethany), and Larisa (Dave) Cornelius; his dearly loved grandchildren, Brody, Hayden, and Charlie; his siblings, Grace (Gert) Wilzer, Wayne (Carla), Donald (Tammy), and Cheryl (Vince) Loptson; and many cherished nieces, nephews, family members, and close friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 27, at Waverley Church, 2171 Waverley Street with interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue.
