Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELEANOR GRYWINSKI (nee TORSKY) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother (Baba), great-grandmother, sister and aunt on August 20, 2018. Mom was predeceased by our dad Walter (1972), parents, Anastasia and Nicholas, sisters, Irene (Bill) and Kay, nephew Glen, and companion John Melnichuk. Surviving her are her loving children, Danny (Gorete) and Donna, grandchildren, Melissa (Adan), Tamara, Joey, Samantha, Brett (Janina) and Darcy, great-grand-children, Tesa, Nyshell, Lydie, Elliot, Layla and Amelia, sister Olga (George), brother-in-law Bill Solomon, and nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended Grywinski and Melnichuk families near and far. The love and closeness of family was very important to Mom, her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy. She loved to cook and bake for family get-togethers and dinners for as long as she could. Our thanks to her doctors for many years of care and a special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Holy Family St. John's unit for the love and compassion they showed in their care for Mom. In compliance with Mom's wishes, a private family service was held with interment at Glen Eden Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. WE LOVE YOU MORE

So sorry for your loss Donna and Danny and your families. I loved doing your mom's hair. We had many great visits over the decades. I have missed her since her health kept her home. Please accept our condolences for the passing of Eleanor. When I saw the obituary in the paper, I knew that I knew her and when I checked at work, sure enough, it has been a while but I remembered.
