Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGILBERTE HEBERT (nee LAVERGNE) In Loving Memory Born September 5, 1916 Manchester, New Hampshire Departed This Life August 25, 2018 St. Pierre, Manitoba Surrounded by the love of her family, Gilberte passed away in her sleep at the Repos Jolys in St. Pierre, 10 days short of her 102nd birthday. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Maurice (Monica), Madeleine (Doug), Fernand, Rachel (Edmond), Charles (Val). She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Nichelle, Joelle, Karen, Sylvie, Chris, Eric, Danielle, Kalyca and Stephan; and her great-grandchildren: Reid, Caelin, Ariana, Seth, Shelby, Simonne, Agathe, Sadie, Zoé, Max, Ryley and Danica. She is survived by her sisters Gisele Vinson and Diane (Paul) Clément. Gilberte was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Emile (1998); her parents Laura Lamy, and Armand and Gilberte Lavergne; her sisters Georgette and Yolande; her brothers Fernand, Germain, Martial, Gérald, and Bernard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, R3C4G2. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at the Repos Jolys for their kind and compassionate care. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 3, 2018, at St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church, 448 Joubert Street, St. Pierre-Jolys. A private family interment will follow at a later date. We had the pleasure of celebrating my Oncle Maurice & ma Tante Monica's Golden Wedding last August in the company of this amazing lady who had everyone in the palm of her wee hand.
