AXEL KOLD CHRISTENSEN Axel Kold Christensen died unexpectedly in his home on July 16, 2018, in Vancouver, B.C., at the age of 87. Axel is survived by his sons Henry (Reina), Paul (Darcie), David; and his granddaughters Li and Yan. He was preceded in death by Angelique Stella Marie Antaya (Valcourt), the mother of his three sons; and his partner June Sumter. Axel was born on September 11, 1930, in Copenhagen, Denmark. After moving to Canada, he married and started his family in Winnipeg. His retirement years were spent in several locations in British Columbia. His biggest passion was travelling around the world. As per his wishes, no formal funeral was planned and his immediate family will be arranging a small celebration of life.
