Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • I knew Lori through my mother. I had the pleasure of meeting her a few times. My mom spoke of Lori and described her as a friend, thoughtful, honest and welcoming. I never knew her too well, but the times I did visit her, she would always have a smile and conversations would always have laughter. Lori, you will be missed. Rest in Peace my friend. - Posted by: Nick Marcelino (Son of Corito Marcelino (who worked with Lori and was her friend)) on: Sep 05, 2018

  • My deepest condolences to Arlyn, Mareigha and Juliette at this very sad and difficult time. I never met your Mom and Grandma but she had to have been a wonderful human being. That is truly evidenced by the beautiful people you three are. Sending you all my love and support. Darren Steinhoff Robson, B.C. - Posted by: Darren Steinhoff (Friend of Arlyn) on: Sep 05, 2018

  • Lori was the first person I met when I worked for the Provincial Government and we became friend for over 20 years. She was smart and funny and she would tell you what she thought!! We kept in touch even after she retired. I will miss her witty humour and all the talks we have had. My heartfelt sympathies go out to her son Arlan and her 2 granddaughters. She will be sorely missed. - Posted by: Linda McNaught (co-worker and friend) on: Sep 04, 2018

  • Lori and I were good friends many years ago but, as often happens, life comes along and you go separate ways. I'm sorry that happened and will remember our good times with a smile. - Posted by: Karen Sherrington (Friend) on: Sep 02, 2018

  • I worked with Lori on a project with the Province of Manitoba...and continued contact with her after the project in day to day work contact. She was a quiet comedian in her own way...a lot of fun to deal with. Condolences to her family. - Posted by: Randy Clark (Work friend) on: Sep 01, 2018

  • I had the great privilege of working with Lori when the Province of Manitoba introduced SAP into the financial, human resource, purchasing and inventory management system for their going forward systems. Lori was articulate, smart, dedicated and very focussed but most of all she was a good friend and team participant. Lori had good core values and she had compassion and caring for people who were experiencing difficulties through very extreme work changes. I will forever be blessed for having known her and for the great experiences and laughter we shared through a truly extraordinary period of time. Lori - you were truly a good human being. - Posted by: Susan Rusk (Work Associate) on: Sep 01, 2018
