BEATRICE ANN TAUBER (nee RUNGE) On August 27, 2018, at St. Boniface Hospital, Beatrice Ann Tauber, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 82 years. Beatrice will be sorrowfully missed by her four sons, Clark (Anne), Ron (Michelle), John and Chris (Heather); her two daughters, Wendy (Art) and Judy (Roger); thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband Ernest in 1993; her sister Lorraine in 2011; and her parents John and Julia Runge. Born March 5, 1936, Beatrice spent her life in Winnipeg. She grew up on Redwood Ave. and then moved to the Wolseley area where she and Ernie started their family and raised their first four children. After 18 years they moved to East Kildonan where she lived until 1993 and raised two more sons. For the past 25 years she has lived independently. Although she was disabled for the last 29 years, Mom never lost her spirit and continued as the focal point of our family. Always positive and supportive, she did all she could to care for her family and those around her. Now she is free to dance again. Thank you to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital for the care and comfort provided the final days of her life. The family would also like to express our most sincere gratitude to the staff of Riverview Health Centre for their never wavering kindness, compassion and dignified care they extended to our mother these past three and one half years. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 2, at 1:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation.
