FLORENCE DRISKELL (LUSSIER) Florence peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 85. Florence will be sadly missed by her children, Richard (Teresa), James, Deborah (Robert), Rita (Karsten), Ronald (Cheryl), as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Leona and brothers, Andre, Antoine, Alfred. Florence was predeceased by her husband Ronald; her parents, Napoleon and Maria Lussier; brothers, Joseph, Lucien, Robert, Gerald; and sisters, Rose, Marie and Denise. Born and raised in St. Eustache, MB, Florence moved to Winnipeg, where she worked tirelessly for many years supporting and raising her family. An independent, tough lady with a quick wit, she enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. Florence was faithful to God and family. Many get-togethers were enjoyed in her home, as Florence made meat pie and roast chicken from scratch to feed all who came to visit, family was always welcome. A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 30, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
