Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTINA WINTER (nee HUNTER) September 2, 1922 - August 28, 2018 It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Christina. Christina has now joined her beloved husband Harry. She was the incredible loving mother of Robert (Mary Ann), grandmother to Jeff, Chris and Yvonne, and special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Chris was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Laurier. She was a teacher and tutor for many years before working at Eaton's. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling and crafts. A special thanks to the staff at the Heritage Centre for their care. Memorial service will be held at Westwood Presbyterian Church, 197 Browning Blvd. on Monday, September 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba would be appreciated. My Mom is now deceased. I have so many fond memories of spending time with Auntie Chris and Uncle Harry as a child. Her talents always amazed me, and she was someone I looked forward to seeing when our family was in Winnipeg for Christmas or over the summer. I wish I would have had the opportunity to spend more time with them.
