CHARLES (CHARLIE) EDWARD WAZNEY Peacefully on August 26, 2018, at the age of 89, the Lord called our loving dad to be with Him. Dad was predeceased by his lovely wife Margaret and son Jeffrey. Dad leaves to cherish his wonderful memory his son Kelvin and wife Cheryl, grandsons, Curtis and Russell; his daughter Brenda and husband Richard Aster. Dad grew up on the family farm in Cook's Creek and then lived in Winnipeg where he proudly worked as a Carman at CN for over 30 years. In 1990, Mom and Dad moved to East Selkirk. The Wazney family extends their utmost appreciation and thankfulness to Dr. Robert Zoppa and Dad's caregivers at the Selkirk Hospital. In lieu of flowers, if you so desire, please make a donation in Dad's name to a charity of your choice. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB, at 10:30 a.m. with reception to follow the service. A private family interment will take place following the reception.   • "Uncle" Charlie, my adopted Uncle. I will miss our very interesting Telephone conversations where we would talk about and solve all that required fixing at that particular point in Time.
