Dear Gayle and Louise, my heart is with you in your great loss. Part of sweet Marilyn's legacy to me as a cherished friend was to introduce me to her beloved, beautiful family, and I feel so privileged and grateful to have gotten to know you and Peter and to be welcomed among your friends. Peter was such a wonderful man! I will always remember his wit, spirit, warmth, courage and intelligence. But I think the image that will always come to my mind first whenever I remember Peter is of him buying packages of out-of-season corn to feed to the little wild bunnies that would come into the yard. That says worlds about who Peter was -- his kindness, tenderheartedness, and generosity. May God bless his dear soul. - Posted by: Reena Kreindler (Friend) on: Sep 11, 2018

Gayle ... so sorry for the loss of your father. We're leaving for Alberta tomorrow and are unable to attend the memorial service. Our thoughts will be with you and your family. - Posted by: Linda & Tony Dorosh (retired co-workers of Gayle) on: Sep 10, 2018

It is difficult to tell you how deeply I feel about Peter's untimely passing. What started many years ago as a working relationship between Peter and me quickly became a warm friendship. It was a privilege to have known him so well, and I will never forget his thoughtfulness and kindness. With great personal sorrow, I ask to share your loss and to extend my heartfelt sympathy.
