CYNTHIA CARAOA ANIKA CARAOA It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of two beautiful souls, Cynthia (50) and Anika Caraoa (9) on Monday, August 20, 2018. Cynthia was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and aunt; always putting first her family before herself. Anika was a bright and cheerful girl who was eager to learn and was always found with a smile on her face. Cynthia and Anika are survived by Cynthia's husband and Anika's father, Roland, their sons (and brothers), Chaldean, Adriel and Hayden, as well as Cynthia's parents, Gregorio and Flocerfina, Cynthia's siblings, Elisa (Rafael), Elvira (Rodel), Genesis (Corazon), Evelyn (Eduardo), Levitico (Emily) and Raquel (Joseph). They will be greatly missed by all of their aunts, uncles and cousins. They were predeceased by Cynthia's sister, Rebecca. Cynthia and Anika were active members in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ), they both enjoyed spending quality time with family, building wonderful memories and travelling. Their cheerfulness and presence will certainly be missed. The viewing for Cynthia and Anika will be held at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. on Friday, September 14, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, followed by the funeral services on Saturday, September 15, at 11:00 a.m. We thank the emergency crews and police of the municipality of Wawa, ON, the airlift medical services team, staff at Sault Area Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, ON, staff at Victoria Health Sciences Centre in London, ON for their immediate action and efforts in looking after Cynthia and Anika. We would also like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and generosity, as well as all those who donated. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Tragic circumstance like this is often accompanied with a (mystery) question “WHY” and the painful wondering how things just turn out the way we never, never wanted to happen. Soon we realize that it’s the ‘separation’ that is very difficult to manage so it takes almost endless time to heal the wound. But as we strongly decide to keep the faith and put our trust in our Lord God the Father, peaceful and heavenly solace will pour upon us with the knowing that those people we love and had once lost are actually joyous and anxiously waiting for our eternal reunion pretty real soon upon our Lord God’s orchestration. Our deepest and utmost sympathy to Caraoa’s family❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏 - Posted by: Darwin Agravante (Dear Friend and neighbor) on: Sep 15, 2018
