Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • We were saddened to hear of Liz' passing, having known and loved her since her earliest childhood. Truly, Heaven has another angel. Missing from her obituary is mention of her aunt Marvel Pirt (Trider) and husband Barry Pirt, who cared for Liz for many years after Liz' mother Irene's premature passing. Although we've lived in B.C. and Alberta for the past 30 years, we visited Liz when we could and she was often on our minds. Our condolences to her step-mom Verna and Liz' brother Ken and family in Toronto. - Posted by: Bob and Christine Scott (Cousin and wife) on: Dec 16, 2018

  • I am so saddened to to hear of Liz's passing. My Grandmother, Marvel Pirt, raised her in her teen and young adult years and I will always remember playing with her at my Grandma's in the 70s and 80s. RIP Liz. Your many hugs and positive attitude will be missed. ❤️ - Posted by: Debb Roeke (Cousin) on: Dec 16, 2018

  • I knew Liz for many years as I was her coach for 5 pin bowling at Polo Park bowling centre. She use to enjoy her Saturdays with us and made many friendships through the years. She also competed in many tournaments and won not only awards but ribbons too. She always had a hug for me every Saturday and said how much she loved that I was her coach. She will be missed but, another angel has gained her wings. Rest In Peace Liz we will miss you. - Posted by: Cynthia Whitfield-Laurent (5 Pin Bowling Coach Polo Park Pins) on: Sep 15, 2018
