JEAN BEWSKY 1939 - 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce Jean's passing on September 7, 2018. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 56 years Steve, her daughters, Debbie (Terry), Linda (Jeff), Susan (Darrell) and her grand-puppies, Hudson, Sophie, Rico and Roxy. To mom family was everything. She loved and adored dad and was very proud of her daughters and sons-in-law. Although mom had no grandchildren - she was very happy with and loved all her grand-puppies, especially when they were getting into trouble. Mom always had a home cooked meal on the table when dad came home from work. When mom wasn't doting on dad or us girls, she loved to work with her hands. Mom loved to sew, crotchet and craft - she was always making something for one of us or her friends. Mom enjoyed both her vegetable garden and her flower gardens. We could hardly wait until mom was handing out her borscht, pickles and jam. Mom loved to get together with family and friends for dinner, card games, Scrabble or Farkle which was her favourite, not too mention she loved her BINGO. Thank-you mom for all the laughter and fun. For your advice and kind words. For being our best friend for everything. You were always there when we needed you. You were a wonderful wife and mother. Most of all thank you for your love. You will be greatly missed. We love you! Family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff of Beacon Hill Lodge for their love, support and care of mom, dad and us girls. In keeping with mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Missing someone and not being able to see them is the worst feeling ever. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery (204) 222-3241 Condolences may be sent to www.greenacresfuneralhome.com

Steve, Deb, Linda, Susan and families. We were so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. We enjoyed the time Jean and Doris shared a room. Mom always liked the way Steve would tease her. We admired Jean for her courage and determination to walk, she never seemed to give up. You are all in our thoughts. - Posted by: Ken and Carol Cox (Friends) on: Sep 29, 2018

Aunty Jean was a very wonderful lady and a dear friend to my parents Pat & Bill. We as kids, myself, Brenda & Rick grew up with Debbie Susan & Linda, as we all lived in Transcona. We hung out together, laughed, fought and cried together. I have loads of beautiful memories of your Mom! Especially when she and Uncle Steve would come to visit usually at 9:30 or 10 pm., listening to our parents talking joking and laughing, and wild animal calls coming from downstairs, & Jean saying "shhhh boom, the kids are asleep!" Then they would leave, as uncle Steve would thank my mom for the lovely lunch and the pie, that she hadn't put out, on that one odd evening visit!! She will be remembered with great memories that I hold close to me. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences are sent to each of you; Uncle Steve, Debbie, Linda, Susan and your significant others. Hold onto your memories forever and deep within your hearts! Love Les & Sherry - Posted by: Sherry Ferris nee Rekrut (Friend) on: Sep 16, 2018

Uncle Steve, Debbie, Linda & Susan, my family and I offer our deepest sympathies and condolences to you all and your extended family. So many memories of Aunty Jean are passing through my mind. Laughter fills my heart as I remember the smile your mom always had except when she tried to be stern with us girls!!! May your memories comfort you as the days go by. It is so hard to lose a parent. Take one day at a time and keep each other close. Merv and Brenda and family - Posted by: Brenda (Rekrut) and Merv Mihaychuk (Friends of the family) on: Sep 16, 2018

Sorry for your loss. You mom was a wonderful lady!! I still remember having lunch at your mom's house when we were in school. And her great pizza pops in egg role shells, they were the best. I have many great memories from back in the day with your parents in the city and at the lake. Sending you all my prayers! - Posted by: Joyce Schmieder (Mother to an old friend) on: Sep 16, 2018
