Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER MARUSCHAK April 13, 1929 - September 12, 2018 It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Maruschak announces his passing on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce, sister Anne and son Harvey. He is survived by sister Mary, brother Mike (Mary), sons, Roger (Donna) and Perry (Betty-Ann), daughter Melody (Wayne), two daughters-in-law, Kim and Donna (Bill), 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be as follows, Kole Reddaway, Justin Kluczkowski, Jon Graumann, Peter Maruschak, Jason Shushkewich and Krisjon Solmundson. The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff at St. Joseph's Residence. Service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home & Cemetery on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. A viewing of the body will be at 9:00 a.m. for family and friends to say their goodbyes. His memory will live on, he will be loved and missed by family and friends. I was Peter's first daughter-in-law and have known him since 1976. He has been there for and my family, when we lost Harvey he was there for us, when I remarried he welcomed Bill into the family and when we moved to California he came to visit us. He did not get to meet his 3 great granddaughters, (Brynn and Hunter -Brant's' daughters and Claire - Andrea's daughter) but has gotten many photos of them. He will be greatly missed by his family in California and sorry we will not be able to attend. Peter will be in our hearts always just as Joyce and Harvey are.
