DOMINGO MARANON It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Domingo Maranon, on Monday, September 17, 2018, at Fred Douglas Nursing Home, Elm Unit. He is predeceased by his wife Teresa Maranon. He is survived by his children, Romeo (Tessie) Maranon, Juliet (Ted) Pilapil, Marjorie (Blair) Anderson and Rosemarie (Philipp) Miranda; grandchildren, Maricris (Dwayne), Valerie (Dustin), Matt (Brandy), Ryan (Jill), Romeo Jr. (Kathryn), Celeste, Roderick (Rebecca), Nicole and Raiden; and great-grandchildren, Kiara, Sophie, Chloe, Melia, Isabella, Lilliana, Greyson, Beckham, Kingston, JJ and Marcelyn. He is survived by his sister Jean, many relatives in the Philippines and all his godchildren in Winnipeg. Born in the Philippines, had travelled to Denmark, Germany, England and other parts of Europe and finally settled in Winnipeg in 1971. A special thanks to staff of Fred Douglas for their care and support. Lamay will take place on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. Edwards Parish, 818 Arlington Street at 10:30 a.m. and the interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue, MB.
