I regret not being aware of Jim’s passing until now. Although it’s been decades and I was a young child when I last saw him, I have wonderful memories of him and The Bradshaw family. He was always fun to be around and a positive figure to emulate. Prayers and condolences to the family. - Posted by: Joel Critchlow (Family friend) on: Feb 26, 2020

I learned about Jim's death from the latest issue of the Crusader Magazine from St Paul's College. I was a classmate of Jim's from early days at St Edwards School in west-end Winnipeg. I recall Jim's good nature, his ability to be a good friend to all classmates, his love of sports and particularly his adeptness at scrub-hockey. Good memories! I looked up to my Uncle Jim and admired his straight forward, no nonsense yet compassionate demeanor. It appeared to me he was worrying about his brother so much he neglected taking care of himself which says a lot about his character. I will miss his wisdom and kindness, as he was the only real Uncle I really knew. - Posted by: Jeffrey Riddick (Uncle) on: Oct 27, 2018

Barb and Family, thank you so much for your kindness over the years of being a great neighbor and friend to my mother. Jim was a great man whom I shared a lot of good memories with and your laughter Bard was always welcome. While tough to lose such a great man, he would want you to be strong and live long. Love is with you Barb. BT - Posted by: Brian Thomas (Lois Thomas' son) on: Sep 24, 2018

Jim was a kind, lovable man, who enjoyed debating with others. I’m going to miss the sports conversations we had when visiting Brad and Cathy in Beaumont, R.I.P. Jim - Posted by: Doug & Melinda Donnelly (Cathy’s, Brother and sister inlaw ) on: Sep 22, 2018

Dear Cathy, I do not have a story to tell other than James Bradshaw is your father so I have to say knowing you Cathy, that makes your dad a pretty super person. I bet he really made things happen! Just like you! I wish I could give you a big enough hug to make the sadness go away, but I can only tell you thank you for being you and for being your dear dad's daughter. Love to you and wishing you happiness always. My condolences to you and your family. Jill - Posted by: jill palmer nee mcwhinney (friend of Cathy and Brad) on: Sep 22, 2018
