SALLY STRONG Peacefully on September 21, 2018 wife, mother, sister, grandmother, Sally Strong (nee Hansen) passed away at the age of 64. Sally will forever live in the hearts of her husband Ron, daughters, Laura (Darren) and Rachel (Jerry), mother Else Hansen, grandchildren, Tanner, Isla, Annie, Layne, and sisters, Joan, Susan and Linda. Sally worked at St. Boniface Hospital and made countless friends during her 39 years. She travelled many times with her husband Ron and looked forward to new adventures. One of Sally's favourite activities was to spend time with her friends at the Seven Oaks Wellness Institute. She treasured being with her beloved grandchildren, reading stories with them each time they were together. They will miss her dearly, as will her entire family. We wish to thank the kind staff on the 6th floor at St. Boniface Hospital for the comfort Sally received in their care, going above and beyond for her and our family. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dugald Community Centre, 544 Holland Street, Dugald, MB. In lieu of flowers, we would request a donation be made to the Ovarian Cancer Society. Also, Sally would have asked for you to read a good book and share it with someone you love. Condolences can be left at Seasonsfunerals.ca

Ron. I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember when you and Sally first started dating and I remember standing up for you guys when you got married. If I never see love again I sure saw it in the two of you throughout your life together. You were made for each other and treated each other with such respect. Sally will be missed dearly. I'm glad I was able to see her and talk to her earlier this year. I didn't find out of her passing until the Sunday after her service. Sorry I missed it. My deepest sympathies Ron. I worked with Sally on the weekends very early in my career. I always looked up to her for the care she demonstrated towards her patients and her professionalism. She was such a hard worker and there never seemed a day that she wasn't pleasant, she always had a smile on her face. I know that there are many people in the St. Boniface Diagnostic Imaging Department that will miss her. My condolences to all of Sally's family. - Posted by: Sandra Luke (Former colleague at St. Boniface) on: Sep 25, 2018

You fought a hard battle Sally and you had a wonderful life. I am so happy that I was able to share part of it with you and Ronnie and the girls when they were younger. You were always down to earth and a realist. Although we didn't see each much in recent years, I did get to hear about your adventures through Ron's eyes. He always lit up with he spoke about you. You were an amazing human and will be missed. God Speed Sally! - Posted by: Nanci Dagg (Friend) on: Sep 25, 2018
