ERNA FOTH The family of Erna Foth express their profound sadness in the passing of their mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt. After a courageous battle with Parkinson's Erna passed away at her home, at the age of 82, on Sunday, September 23, 2018. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Willi (Shelley), Karen, Anita and Debbie (Claude); grandchildren, Rodney (Robyn), Trevor (Tiffany), Stephanie, Trisha, Jeanine, Lucas, Brennan, Nicole, Jason (Karley) and David (Kristen); great-grandchildren, Madalyn, Marly, Hayden, Hailey, Paige Chase and Jagger; sister Martha Prochnau; sister-in-law Ida Pauls; and many nieces and nephews and their families. Erna was born December 11 in Poland and travelled during the war to Canada to start a new life. She met and married her husband Leo, who predeceased her in 2007. Together they farmed in Marquette, Manitoba for over 50 years. She will always be remembered for her kind smile, amazing food, beautiful flower gardens and loving hugs to her grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Verna and Susan from Comforts of Home for their compassionate care and Dr. Mysore for her long-standing support. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg at 11:00 a.m. with viewing prior. A reception to follow immediately after service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Canada or Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Mom will be laid to rest next to Dad at the Belcourt Community Cemetery after the reception at 3:00 p.m.
