JAMES (JIM) BARRINGTON OLSON April 9, 1945 - September 24, 2018 With his children by his side Jim passed away in the early hours of Monday morning. He leaves to mourn his brother Edwin (Gilda); children, Barry (Monica), Tammy (Roger), Jamie (Ray) and Jason (Shelly); 11 grandchildren as well as one great-grandson, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Francis, his brother Bernie and his sister Enid. A service will be held on Thursday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Home located at 724 Selkirk Avenue in Winnipeg. Private family burial will take place at Brookside Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be left at seasonsfunerals.ca

  • Cousin Jimmy we had met when I was a small boy in the early sixties, you were dad's nephew. I remember you were a very kind man, father and husband we had met many times over the years around the North End. We would talk and you always called me little Elmer, never forgot who I was and I always had lots of respect for you cousin Jim. May God bless your soul, rest in peace.
