  • Sadie, I extend my condolences to you and your family after hearing of Cecil's passing. I met Cecil around 20 years ago in the basement of a fitness facility we both attended. I noticed a new gym member working out on a treadmill for an hour at a time. As time passed, Cecil's persistence began to pay off and he dropped an incredible amount of weight and he was feeling much better. Over the years, I was blessed, as was the entire gym to have Cecil as part of our early morning routine. Cecil was encouraging to all gym members and he routinely sought an opportunity to share his biblical wisdom with a mindset to help others. We learned of his youth growing in Montreal and his journey out west. Cecil was proud of his children's accomplishments and spoke often of how you watched over him and ensured he was eating healthy. I will miss Cecil and his words of wisdom. He was a gentle and kind man who made a difference my and many people's lives. Phil Chan (friend) - Posted by: Phil Chan (Friend) on: Oct 03, 2018
