Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIVAN EDWARD POVEY On September 20, 2018, with his family by his side, Ivan (75), passed away at Health Sciences Centre shortly after a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Ivan will be greatly missed by Sigrid, his beloved wife of 45 years, his children, Melinda (Marcus), Brent (Tatiana) and Justin, his grandchildren, Caryssa and Nathaniel, his siblings, Marion, Beverley (Mel), David (Ruth) and Wayne (Geri), his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Ivan's life was filled with faith in Christ and a love for his family, church, trips to the lake, wildlife, reading, listening to music, skiing, swimming, jogging and watching sports. To celebrate his life, a memorial service will be held at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield St., on October 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ivan's honour to a charity of your choice are welcomed.

This with great sorrow that I read about Ivan’s passing. We grew up together on Dominion Street. We became the best of friends, going to football games, listening to music, and just hanging out.
