Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • I am saddened. Richelle was one of my favorite people. Too many times I have seen creative young people leave too soon. Sensitive and kind. "The world was never meant for one as beautiful as you". When Don McLean wrote this of Van Gogh he spoke of that / a beautiful spirit a hardy but sensitive soul. My love to all her loving family. Thank you Richelle for the time you gave me. Our walks home, our laughs, how you could get others to let go and be fun and silly and free. Today I will not cry but be free and silly in joyful creative abandon for you and for me. In order to post this I have to click a button saying I'm not a robot. Richelle I hope that makes you laugh. - Posted by: Lara Rae (Friend ) on: Oct 07, 2018

  • I am so sorry to hear of this loss. I have the fondest memories of the spirit and energy Richelle brought to our school community. Although she was not one of my immediate students, she was so intensely creative and musical, and enjoyed being in the music room to sing, play guitar and listen to rehearsals. I loved having her there! She had such deep insight and always offered help freely. Her music was lovely. Her art spoke volumes. I send my deepest condolences to Richelle's family and friends. I can't imagine. - Posted by: Ross Brownlee (Teacher) on: Oct 01, 2018

  • Mark and I are so saddened to hear of your loss. We want you to know we are keeping you in our hearts during this difficult time. - Posted by: Kathy and Mark George Moore (friends from choir) on: Sep 30, 2018

  • I heard of Richelle’s passing last week, and felt a deep sadness as I realized that this artistic, funny, creative girl was no longer on this earth. I will remember feeling such pride watching her win the Manitoba High School Playwriting contest. I will remember the fun I had teaching her grade 10 Drama. I feel terribly sad for those who have loved her and lost her. - Posted by: Lisa Martin (Former Teacher) on: Sep 29, 2018

  • I'm sorry to hear Richelle left us. She was my best friend growing up. I'm sorry time and moving away distanced us. I wish I had gotten to know the awesome kind person she became. I know she was always true to herself as a kid so I expect she wasn't much different. I have many fond memories of her. She even taught me how to ride a bike which might seem stupid to someone else. My condolences to her parents Cynthia and Richard and brother Mark and sister Shauna. - Posted by: Emma Robertson (Friend) on: Sep 29, 2018
