Mr. Lord taught in Stonewall about 1960 in the old stone school. I remember him coaching our high jump group for track and field. He was strict, but respected. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. - Posted by: Cheryl (Moore) Willis (Former pupil) on: Oct 06, 2018

So many great memories of Mr. Lord in shops class in Stonewall. He was always very factual and fair as an instructor and demonstrated an uprightness and formality that is long gone. He always told us that we were using about 14 times more glue than we needed on projects and to keep the glue brush clean. One year we had to finish our projects a couple of days into the summer holidays and we seen Mr. Lord let the guard down for a couple of days and got to know what a great guy he really was. I am so thankful to have had his influence in my life and still cannot get over the fact that I eventually became a journeyman carpenter based on some of his teachings and am now sporting his flat top haircut...just as he used to have back in the day. Thank you for your influence Mr. Lord and know that you always had everyone's respect and will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Greg Popoff (Former student) on: Oct 06, 2018
