Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAGATHE LAVALLEE (nee TRUDEAU) At dawn, on September 28, 2018, our mother Agathe Lavallée passed away in her sleep. She was 91 years old. Agathe was born on June 9, 1927 in Ile-des-Chênes, Manitoba, to Augustine Manaigre and Georges Trudeau. She was the fourth of 18 children. After Normal School, she taught at Provencher School in St. Boniface, then in a one-room schoolhouse outside of La Salle, Manitoba. It's there she met her husband, Fernand Lavallée. Their marriage would last 65 years. A woman of strong Christian faith, Agathe devoted herself entirely to her children and to her large, extended family. She had five children, Ronald, Joanne, Gilbert, Alain and Philippe, as well as 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to the wonderful staff at Manoir de la Cathédrale and on the Palliative Care Unit of Riverview Health Centre, who eased her pain in her final days. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 8, 11:00 a.m., eulogy at 10:45 a.m., at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Church in Windsor Park. Cher oncle Fernand, Joanne et mes chers cousins, Malheureusement nous ne pouvons pas aller aux funérailles de tante Agathe. Nous sommes unis à vous tous dans la prière de notre cœur. Tante Agathe a vécu une belle vie dans l’amour et la charité envers tous. Dans les dernières années de vie de Mom, tante Agathe et oncle Fernand étaient toujours présents pour elle avec un bon beigne et café par amour. Vous avez tous été bénis d’une si belle épouse, mère et grand-mère.
