RAYMOND COURCELLES October 19, 1924 - October 5, 2018 After a long and full life, Raymond passed away on October 5, 2018, at the age of 93. He was predeceased by his parents, Télesphore and Zélia; his brothers, Léon, Denis and Rosaire; his sister Simonne Freynet; his brothers-in-law, Eugène Verrier, Aimé Freynet, Denis Simard and André Courcelles; and his sister-in-law Thérèse. He leaves to mourn his passing his brothers, Noël and Roger (Lucille); his sisters, Solange Verrier, Noëlla Simard and Aurore; his sisters-in-law, Florence and Anita (Aimé Rémillard); as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Raymond was born and raised on the family farm in Ste. Agathe. He started his working career in Ontario as a lumberjack for a short period of time, after which he returned to Manitoba where he worked as a semi-truck driver. He then moved on to Canada Wire in Winnipeg where he was employed until his retirement. Raymond will be remembered as a hardworking individual, as well as a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend who always helped out when asked and who enjoyed a good round of golf. He was also a dedicated Knight of Columbus and a friend to all. Raymond's life will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Ste. Agathe Roman Catholic Church.
