ROSE ANNE REMPEL (nee FIEBELKORN) October 16, 1930 - October 8, 2018 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Anne Rempel at the age of 87 years. Rose was born in La Broquerie, MB and moved to the Grunthal area with her parents in her early years. As a young woman, she worked at the St. Boniface Hospital until she married Herman Rempel in 1950, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Steinbach. As a married couple, they moved to a farm close to Rose's parents and farmed for many years where they had two children. In the early 1960s, they left the family farm and moved to Steinbach, where they both worked in the garment industry. This was followed by a move to Winnipeg in the 1970s, where they lived until they both passed. Rose was a great mother and a good friend to many with a life well lived. Rose was an avid gardener and loved her flowers until the day she sold her house. These she shared with many, and the flowers in their yards today are a testimony to her caring. She made sure to stay connected, taking time to make those phone calls, remembering to ask about those important personal details. She will be sadly missed by her son Vern, her brother, sisters, sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Rose was predeceased by her husband Herman and son Garry, as well as her parents, Julianna and Reinhold, brothers, Edward, Ferdinand, Albert, Emanuel, Daniel, Reinhold, William, and Rudolf, and sister Marlene. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation. • Vern....so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. She was a special lady. I remember her sense of humour and also the great times we all had visiting each others families when we all lived in the Kleefeld area. Take care! - Posted by: Shirley Stogryn (Topnik) (Niece) on: Oct 16, 2018
