1979 is when we first met at Rockwood School and I knew that Audrey was a very independent woman who was so easy to like and respect. Audrey and I shared working on concerts, musicals, coaching as well as strategizing on teaching activities. Our sense of humor was similar and we "encouraged" each other to find the humor in many situations. Our friendship grew over the years and as each of us retired, we continued having lunches and having talks about everything. I was thrilled to hear Audrey play on her fancy piano as her skills truly developed way beyond mine. I will truly miss Audrey and will always cherish her friendship. She will always be a "special lady". - Posted by: Pamela Skyhar (colleague and friend) on: Oct 15, 2018
