DENISE ANNETTE RAGOT We are very sad to announce the sudden passing of our beloved sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend, in the early morning hours of September 27, 2018. Denise left us as peacefully as she had lived. She was born on January 4, 1953 to Maurice and Therese (nee Chabidon) Ragot (deceased) and was the fifth child in a family of twelve. Left to carry on are her brothers, Leo-Paul (Rosemary deceased), Andre, Laurent, Gerald, Gilbert, Normand and Antoine. Her sisters, Lorraine Hadaller, Suzanne Wood, and Simone Stadnyk. Her brothers-in-law, John Kolodrupski, Gordon Hadaller, Robert Stadnyk, and Ken McKenzie and her sisters-in-law, Claire, Heather and Pamela. She leaves many nieces and nephews that she loved beyond measure. Denise's beloved eldest sister Ginette Kolodrupski predeceased her. Denise attended the University of Manitoba and received degrees from the Faculty of Science and worked from 1974 to 2007 for the Manitoba Telephone System. She enjoyed her retirement spending enormous amounts of time with her young nephews, Eric and Elliot and niece Margaret (Maggie), who remain perplexed at the incomprehension of her passing. What will we do without our Auntie Denise? We do not know... Rest peacefully Auntie Denise, we love you so much! Thank you for sharing with us all your many talents, your time, your hugs, your tender heart, and your unwavering belief in all the people you loved. Joining the family in grief are her chosen family, Rory and Shelby Pfeiffer, of Victoria and Edmonton respectfully, who lived in the "top of her heart". Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fort Garry United Church, 800 Point Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Winnipeg Harvest, 1085 Winnipeg Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0S2.
