Kathy interviewed Joy for the Bookkeeper’s job in their home in 1982. Joy got the position and we got a new whole family of friends, too. John and Kathy instilled and built Unique Construction out of their love. They taught it to their children and extended it to all they met. The path of life they followed was mirrored from God’s love. It was narrow with a lot of bumps, holes, twists, turns and continues to be hard-work. But it is strong, unconditional and everlasting. The Trowbridge’s are “Unique” (Sturgeon Road & Saskatchewan Avenue). When Joy last saw Kathy (on John’s 75th Birthday) her last words were: “...I’m going to heaven, Joy!” While maintaining eye contact Joy replied: “I know you are and I’ll see you there!” Written with love from deep within, Joy, John, Joel, Janina, Julie Kulik and Families - Posted by: Joy and John, Joel, Janina, Julie Kulik and Families (Friends & Joy (past employee)) on: Oct 20, 2018

Kathy was a very dear friend for many many years. We spent a lot of time together having fires in the pit, barbecues and many buggy rides. I am devastated over our loss. I go to pick up the phone every day to give her a morning call. Ken always called her his little sister. RIP my friend. - Posted by: Ken and Brenda Penney and family (Close friend) on: Oct 16, 2018
