SUZANNE DIONNE (nee COVE) We are very saddened to announce the sudden passing of our wife, mom, sister, and friend after a brief battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, while surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Leon; children, Neil Merry (Mika), Danielle Merry (Kevin); stepdaughters, Kristen Dionne (Tim) and Andrea Rempel (Jeff); grandson Dylan; sister Cindy Cove (Don); brother Curtis Cove; and niece Quinn, as well as many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Geraldine Cove; and stepson Rene Dionne. Suzanne was born and raised in East Kildonan, Winnipeg, before moving to Beausejour where she remained. She worked for many years as a Lab Technologist in various locations. Her passions were her family, friends, pets (especially her bunnies), rug hooking on Tuesdays, petit point, and many other crafts. She loved to sit outside on her deck in Beausejour in the summer and read. Suzanne loved to travel with her husband Leon, especially cruising! The family would like to thank Dr. Nick, the staff at Beausejour Hospital, and Dr. Maksymiuk at CancerCare for their support and care. Celebration of Suzanne's life will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. Coffee and dainties to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Suzanne's memory may be made to Winnipeg Humane Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or CancerCare Manitoba. • We are very sad to hear of Suzanne passing and our thoughts are with you Leon. Our cruise on Carnival Paradise in 2003 was memorable, receiving your letter, we took out the pictures and sadly said good bye to her. We have wonderful memories of that trip and our excursions together with both of you. Prend bien soin de toi, et j'espère que tu a ta famille auprès de toi pour alléger ta peine. Bisous xxxx - Posted by: Helene Labrecque (Friend) on: Jan 16, 2019
