They told me hericlitius; they told me you were dead They brought me bitter news to hear and bitter tears to shed I wept as I remembered how often you and I Had tired the sun with talking and sent it down the sky Those were the days! Yours in support of the peoples' heroic revolution. We had some fun with that, didn't we? Take it easy old friend, but take it! - Posted by: Doug Jofd (Best friend) on: Mar 19, 2019

I was very sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing. I can remember him as if it were yesterday, from Shilo days. Very nice young man. I even have a photo of him with Jan Binkley, who, I believe he was dating at the time. Our thoughts and condolences to his family. Wayne gave me my first job in the city at Westdale. Let go due to teacher numbers after that first year, he helped me find a job in St Vital. My experience that first year at Westdale was so good it was easy to accept a position there the following year when Wayne called me back. For the next dozen or so years he was unfailingly supportive and helpful to my career. The teaching atmosphere at Westdale was amazing. He gathered together a terrific staff that was so collegial and supportive. He was looked up to by all of us. He was the finest administrator I ever worked for in 41 years. - Posted by: Glen Lenchuk (colleague) on: Oct 21, 2018
