Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE ROSE WHITESELL 1938 - 2018 Mrs. Irene Rose Whitesell, nee Pilon, died peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 80, on October 20, 2018. Irene is survived by her children, Perry and wife Linda of Winnipeg, Scott and wife Joy of Winnipeg, Lorrie of Nova Scotia, Will of Winnipeg, Richard of Winnipeg, Kevin and wife Linda of La Broquerie, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Irene was preceded by her husband Bill in 1987. Irene was born in Winnipeg on October 13, 1938, married her childhood sweetheart Bill in 1956, where they raised their family. A funeral is scheduled for Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Irene's life. My sincere condolences on the loss of a beautiful lady Irene! We were neighbors on Magnus Avenue many many years ago and she was such a kind and generous lady. Our paths haven’t crossed for years, however, we speak of her and the rest of the family often! I shall say a prayer for her and the family at this difficult time! My condolences to the Whitesell family, soooooo sorry hear about your mom. Man, she was and is still one of greatest people I have ever met. I would never call her name because to me it was Mrs. Whitesell, but she was a mom figure and always feeding me, which was great. Man, I loved that lady, great lady! I can't say enough...so kind and never seen her any other way, always smiling.
