Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLA MAY HAARSMA (nee DOUGLAS) June 28, 1925 - October 20, 2018 Mom passed away peacefully at Kildonan Personal Care Centre on October 20, 2018, with family by her side. She will be sadly missed by daughters, Judy (Doug), Sandie (Ed) and Diana, her seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by her husband Ben, son Doug, daughter-in-law Shirley, and grandson Rod. The family would like to thank the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their caring compassion. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family gathering at a later date. Aunti Vi, I will always remember your smile and laughter in my heart. So many fun memories of you and mom and your shennagans! Card games, camping, anticipating Christmas eve special gifts from you. Backyard summer barbecues sitting around the "pool". Ok pool was only an inflatable but with our feet in it and a cocktail in our hands and lots of laughter, we thought we were living the dream... and we were! Sandi, Judy and Diane i know your hearts are heavy but your mom is most likely got a drink in her hand and sharing a laugh with family and friends who are celebrating being together again.
