HEINRICH (HENRY) DALLMEIER February 26, 1930 - October 11, 2018 Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at the Gimli Regional Health Centre. He was a loving father to Ron (Wendy), Andrea (Alec) and Kerstin (Peter), and a proud and loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and will be sadly missed by all. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Gerd (Heinke), and sister Antje, as well as many other friends and family in Germany. Henry was always a gentleman. He was kind and caring and had a great sense of humour. He took great pleasure in attending his grandchildren's sporting events, watching football and hockey with his son, and playing cards and visiting with his many friends in Gimli. The family wishes to sincerely thank his wonderful homecare workers and the compassionate and caring staff at the Gimli Regional Health Centre. The family welcomes Henry's many friends to a Celebration of Life, which will take place at the Lakeview Hotel in Gimli on Saturday, November 10 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Henry will be interred privately at Arnes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Gimli Community Health Centre, Box 250, Gimli, MB R0C 1B0 (please state "In memory of Henry Dallmeier").
