JEANETTE MARLENE BRAKEL (FESHCHUK) Jeanette Marlene Brakel (Feshchuk) passed away peacefully on October 26, 2018, at the age of 76, our loving mother and grandmother at the Grace Hospital, in Winnipeg, MB. She is survived by her two sons, Richard (Valerie) and Terry (Lori); grandchildren, Brett, Allison, Kurtis, Chase, Scott, Caitlin and Cameron; brother Patrick (Liz); twin sister Darlene; sister Irene (David), and many nieces and nephews. Marlene was predeceased by her loving husband Hank, parents, Theodore and Anna, stepmother Lena, sister Marion and her husband Ray, sister Carol and her husband Dennis, and brother Ted. Marlene was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on October 6, 1942. Marlene grew up in a few areas and settled in Sundown, MB, she then moved to Winnipeg to study nursing. Marlene graduated from the St. Boniface School of Practical Nursing in 1963. Marlene then started working at Victoria General Hospital and worked there until she retired in 1997. Marlene retired and focused a lot of her time and attention on her grandchildren. Marlene was very proud of all her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them all grow up.
