CHARLES (SANDY) ALEXANDER HEBERT Charles (Sandy) Alexander Hebert, aged 77, of Ste. Anne, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Sandy was born in Pine Falls, Manitoba, on September 13, 1941. He was a Chartered Accountant who worked at Eaton's and Great-West Life. Sandy was a voracious reader who also enjoyed golf, swimming, curling, cards, and puzzle-solving. He was formerly a Mason and a Shriner. For many years he drove Cancer patients, through the Canadian Cancer Society, to and from their appointments. Sandy loved to make people laugh, including his daily morning email jokes to his friends. He leaves behind his loving wife Sandra; stepdaughter Shauna; stepson Rob (Karen); granddaughters; Ashley (Paul) and Alyssa (Bruce); great-grandson Leighton; sisters-in-law, Lynn, Roberta, Debbie; brothers-in-law, Gary (Glenda), Glenn (Heather); nieces and nephews, Jordan, Jacob, Kelleigh, Jeffrey (Kim), Kimberlee (Corey), Brydon, Easton, Jesse (Lindsay), Ryan, Layne. A celebration of Sandy's life will be held at a future date yet to be determined. The family would like to thank the dedicated, compassionate nurses and doctors at St. Boniface Hospital I.C.C.U. for their round-the-clock care. You were all a great support to me and my family. We met Sandy (and Sandra) when we moved to Paradise Village in 2008 and from that day forward, there was a bond that was made between us. For an accountant, there was a sense of humour that was so unsteriotipical about this great human being. Being golf buddies every day for years made you realize this fact and there was always a smile that he would bring to your face. He will be greatly missed and has left us way too soon. - Posted by: Doug and Doreen Sheridan (Loving friends) on: Nov 08, 2018
